It is always a pleasure to visit Dr Jones because he is very welcoming and makes one feel that every detail one tells him is important when discusing symptons one is experiencing. He is very open and frank about how he can deal with any situation. He shares what he is going to tell your GP and is prepared to change his remarks if one has things one wishes to add. He always conducts his consultation in an entertaining manner and I always leave my appointment feeling much better than when I arrived.

The Haematology Ward of Queen Mary's Hospital is very efficiently run for those patients who suffer rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Hugh Jones has proscribed my treatment for many years; he is always caring, transmits to his patients confidence and finds time to discuss options and possible new treatments. I have always been pleased with my care.

I have been seeing Dr Hugh Jones since January this year, due to my back problems and resulting sciatic pain, after being recommended him from my best friend, who is GP. I would recommend this doctor highly. I have now had 2 back epidurals at Parkside hospital administered by him. He made me fell at ease and comfortable and has a great sense of humour, then he was serious when he needed to be. The treatment he gave combined with the chiropractor (which Dr Jones is happy for me to continue with) has helped remove the constant pain and seems to be allowing my back to recover. Fingers crosses.. if not I will be back to see him.

Dr Jones is always very helpful and very willing to do his best to see you if you have a problem outside of the normal schedule of appointments. He always gives you enough time to discuss any issues and takes seriously what you have to say. He is courteous and considerate and provides information that helps you manage your situation. Decision making regarding treatment options is made in partnership with him after appropriate advice and discussion.
